Forward: Jehovah's Witnesses are well aware of the fact that Satan the Devil is the unseen god of this world. His cadre of demons are the actual ruling principalities behind the political governments and the entire system of things. That being the case, any attempt to understand the goings-on of Satan's world in the light of prophecy, which does not take into consideration the endemic deception inherent in the system, is doomed to failure.
Put another way, we should not suppose that Jehovah's prophetic word harmonizes with revisionist's versions of history, political correctness, or with the insidious propaganda that shapes public opinions. The only realistic perspective of our world is from the ridiculed conspiratorial view of history and current events. This essay is the result of more than a decade of research into the ongoing conspiracy to establish a New World Order.
On Christmas Day, 1991, the scarlet-colored flag emblazoned with the fear-inspiring hammer & sickle was lowered from the Kremlin for the last time. A few days later, the dreaded Communist Empire of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was no more. Nearly a year earlier, President George H. Bush gave an historic speech in which he announced that a new world order was dawning. (Click here for actual transcript of his speech) The world could breathe a collective sigh of relief as four decades of nuclear standoff and Mutually Assured Destruction was coming to an end. More recently, the former Cold War foes have seemingly found common cause in battling global terrorism. But just as quickly as the USSR disintegrated, the United Nations Organization was suddenly catapulted into prominence. Instead of serving as a mere propaganda forum for the superpowers as before, typified by Nikita Khrushchev's infamous, "we will bury you" shoe-banging tirade, it became evident that the United Nations was going to be featured more prominently as The Enforcer in the heralded new order of things. Since Sir George Bush's history-making speech proclaiming the dawning of a new world order, the world's political scene has changed in significant ways. Presently, the nations are no longer polarized into two blocks aligned with either with the USSR or the USA. Instead, the world is becoming increasingly unipolar—being dominated both militarily and economically by the sole remaining Anglo superpower. And slowly but surely, world government is becoming a reality. Indeed, after Saddam Hussein refused the UN's demand for Iraqi troops to withdraw from Kuwaiti territory, for only the third time in history the United Nations sanctioned war against a member nation. Since then, the United Nations has begun to function more and more as an independent world government—as its imperial founders had originally intended. The empowerment of the International Criminal Tribunal is an example of the increasingly prominent role the UN is playing in global affairs. As another evidence of the growing power of the UN: in the aftermath of the original Gulf War in 1991—and no doubt as a harbinger of horrors to come—the United Nations was instrumental in administering punishing genocidal sanctions against the people of Iraq in behalf of the Anglo-American oil cartel. Just over ten years after the demise of the USSR, the son of the former President George Bush announced, not a new world order, but a menacing new world enemy in the form of the arbitrarily defined Axis of Evil. Now, with the overwhelming military superiority of the Anglo-American-Zionist triad ominously counterpoised against the so-called Axis of Evil, and rumors of new wars and acts of terrorism around the world a growing phenomenon, it would appear as if the oligarchy is about to make a final all-out push to institute the real New World Order. It therefore seems particularly timely to consider the world's present strategic situation from the prophetic perspective of the book of Daniel. Doing so, however, will require that we clear away some of our cherished misconceptions.
"He will certainly prove successful"In 1999, eight years after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the reemergence of the United Nations, the Watchtower Society published the book, Pay Attention to Daniel's Prophecy. With the exception of a few "adjustments," the Society's prophetic explanations of the king of the north remain essentially unchanged since the 1950's. Inexplicably, nearly a decade after its demise, Bethel's institutional prophets saw no need to revise their previously-held view that the USSR was the biblical king of the north. The Watchtower continues to teach that the entire span of verses from Daniel 11:36-43 still applies to the defunct USSR. This in spite of the fact that the 36th verse plainly says: "And he will certainly prove successful until the denunciation will have come to a finish; because the thing decided upon must be done." The Watchtower offers no explanation as to how the now non-existent Soviet king of the north possibly could or can "prove successful until the denunciation will have come to a finish." To compound the miscalculation, the Watchtower has counseled Jehovah's Witnesses not to even speculate about who the new king of the north might be that will replace the fallen Communist king. (In reality, the king of the north has not faded from view. The Watchtower simply does not recognize who he is presently) Tragically, as a result of their lack of insight, the Watchtower has left Jehovah's Witnesses with an unworkable interpretation of Daniel's prophecy that prevents us from anticipating any future events that may yet unfold. For that reason, let us continue paying attention to Daniel's prophecy with a view to getting a clearer understanding. Let's begin with Daniel 11:36a. That part of the verse reads: "And the king will actually do according to his own will, and he will exalt himself and magnify himself above every god; and against the God of gods he will speak marvelous things." The Watchtower applies the 36th verse to the atheistic USSR, saying in their commentary: "Fulfilling these prophetic words, the king of the north rejected "the God of his fathers," such as the Trinitarian divinity of Christendom. The Communist bloc promoted outright atheism. Thus the king of the north made a god of himself, 'magnifying himself over everyone.'" Simply put, the Watchtower's present interpretation is at odds with reality. Since the disintegration of the USSR, Islam and the Russian Orthodox Church, as well as numerous other Protestant sects, have all experienced a revival in the lands of the former Soviet Union. It would seem, then, that not only was the Watchtower's Communist king of the north not successful all the way until the end, (as the prophecy calls for) but the USSR was not even successful in magnifying itself over the gods it once sought to dominate. In reality, it was the Stalinist-communist ideology that was discredited by capitalism—as well as by the religious faiths of the world that survived the death of Soviet Communism. In the absence of the once-mighty USSR, how do we suppose he acted "according to his own will"? Was it the "will" of the USSR to implode upon itself? Not only that, but the Watchtower' latest commentary also continues to assert that the prophecy calling for the king of the north to rule over the gold and "hidden treasures" of Egypt was fulfilled by the Soviet Union's supposedly dominating over the vast financial resources of the United States during the Cold War. The Watchtower's assertion is simply absurd and does not at all fit in with the facts of history. For a fact, the arms race, and more especially the related space race between the USSR and the USA, resulted in an enormous economic boom—particularly for the United States. The technological spin-off from the space race, known as a science-driver, resulted in the development of the personal computer, cell phone technology and many other things too numerous to mention, which have all contributed to the economic superiority the United States continues to enjoy, for the moment. Even though the Soviets also developed many beneficial technologies during the Cold War, their plodding centralized-command economic system and lack of profit incentive and outside capital investment, resulted in their eventual economic decline, so that now the vast resources of the once-mighty Soviet Empire are being exploited by globalization, free trade and outright looting. Reality is the exact opposite of the Watchtower's prophetic version of it! Besides, the dominate world-struggle of the last two centuries has not been between communism and capitalism. It has been between the empire and the republic. We must not lose sight of that. We should not suppose that Jehovah's revelatory angel was nearly so confused on the matter, as the Watchtower appears to be. As with all other prophecies, if we are to gain any insights into God's prophetic word we must reject private interpretations of Scripture, no matter their source, and simply permit the Bible to interpret itself. In order to allow the Bible do that, we must consider all the relevant prophecies as they stand in relation to each other. Keeping in mind that there are four separate prophecies in Daniel with overlapping features; Daniel's prophecy begins with the simplest (the image with the head of gold and feet of iron and clay) and ends with the most detailed; that being the prophecy of the king of the north and king of the south. The prophecies in the 7th and 8th chapters of Daniel add vital information and Revelation rounds out the picture. Daniel, chapter seven, contains the vision of the usually fierce beast with ten horns; from which a small 11th horn springs, possessing eyes and a mouth "speaking grandiose things." The 8th chapter envisions a similar offshoot-horn that "put on great airs," so that "it kept throwing truth to the earth, and it acted and had success." Finally, Revelation 13:5 describes a seven-headed beast with ten horns that also possesses "a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies was given it, and authority to act forty-two months was given it." In comparing the four complimentary prophecies, (three from Daniel and one from Revelation) each entity is variously described as speaking great blasphemies in an elevated style, so as to magnify itself above all others—including God himself. In each instance, the prophecies indicate that the singular entity enjoys success up until God destroys it. Now, the question: How many separate political entities can fit that description? Logically, there can only be one that exalts itself above all others. If, then, we are to allow the Bible to interpret itself, we must recognize that the prophetic 11th horn; the king of fierce countenance; the resurrected beast of Revelation; and the final manifestation of the king of the north, are all various prophetic aspects of the development of the same political institution. So, what is that institution? To answer that question it will be helpful to first determine when the prophecy is scheduled to be fulfilled. According to the Watchtower's present interpretation, all of the above named prophecies have already been fulfilled, but at different times in the past 20th Century. However, that is not in accord with the Scriptures. As stated previous, there can only be one, common fulfillment. Since sound reasoning dictates that all of the above-cited prophecies relate to the same political event, if we can determine when one of them is realized, we may thereafter realign the others so as to harmonize with that occurrence. In the 8th chapter of Daniel the prophet had a frightening encounter with an angel who told him: "Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end." And while he was speaking with me, I had become fast asleep on my face on the earth. So he touched me and made me stand up where I had been standing. And he went on to say: "Here I am causing you to know what will occur in the final part of the denunciation, because it is for the appointed time of the end." Now, we have a vital clue, not only as to the identity of the king of the north in his final manifestation, (to be discussed) but also when all the related prophecies will be fulfilled. According to the angel, the vision of the king of fierce countenance is for "the time of the end." "The time of the end" is also called the "final part of the denunciation." Please note: Daniel 8:24 says that the king of fierce countenance will "certainly prove successful and do effectively." Since the king of the north is also said to "act effectively" and "prove successful until the denunciation will have come to a finish," it is evident that the king of fierce countenance and the king of the north are the same king. Obviously, one king cannot symbolize the Anglo-American power and the other king the now-nonexistent USSR, as the Watchtower presently teaches! But when is the time of the end when the king arises? According to the Watchtower, "the time of the end" began in 1914. But, if that is really true, how can it possibly be that the king of the north has proven himself "successful until the denunciation will have come to a finish"? Each of the successive kings of the north, at least according to the Society's interpretations, have all been pathetic failures during the 90-year period that Jehovah's Witnesses suppose has been the time of the end. Think about it: Kaiser's Germany was defeated. Nazi Germany was utterly destroyed. And most recently the Soviet Empire has rolled over, belly-up. By what method of reasoning can it be argued that those regimes were successful? Again, though, when is the time of the end? According to Jesus, the conclusion of the system of things, or the alternative expression—time of the end—is when the angels make a final decisive separation of wicked and righteous individuals. Christ himself said: "That is how it will be in the conclusion of the system of things: the angels will go out and separate the wicked from among the righteous and will cast them into the fiery furnace. There is where their weeping and the gnashing of their teeth will be." Incredibly, the Watchtower applies Jesus' words above to the time since 1919! However, no one can successfully argue that the harvest work described by Christ has gone into effect yet; otherwise let them point to the evidence indicating God's angels having already removed the wicked from among the righteous and cast them into the "fiery furnace" of destruction. (See essay: What and When is the Time of the End?) It should be obvious the harvest that Christ was illustrating in his parables is not accomplished by the preaching work of Christians. Just as a literal harvest of crops comes after the seed-sowing and growing season is concluded, so too, the symbolic harvest logically comes as a conclusion to the preaching and disciple-making work. Paul, in fact, illustrated how Christian ministers share in planting and watering the seeds of truth and God makes the cultivated field grow, until the harvest. In Jesus' detailed prophecy concerning the actual conclusion of the system of things, or the time of the end, Christ foretold that there would be a sudden, miraculous separation of the righteous and the wicked, not a gradual division as we suppose, so that: "Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned; two women will be grinding at the hand mill: one will be taken along and the other be abandoned." Surely, no sane person would insist that such a people-separating phenomenon, such as Jesus illustrated, has already taken place as a result of the preaching work of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1919! To their credit, the Watchtower has even recently admitted that the final separation of the sheep and the goats is a future event—initiated when Christ, accompanied by all of heaven's angels, sits down on his glorious throne. Yet, we still insist that the angels have already separated the wheat and the weeds and the good and bad fishes of Jesus' parable. Why the inconsistency? Because Christ's parable of the wheat and the weeds and the Dragnet clearly connects the separating to the concluding time of the end and the Watchtower is determined to doggedly hang on to the lie that the time of the end commenced in 1914. There is no other explanation for the Watchtower's persistent and seeming incurable interpretive schizophrenia. However, as regards the prophecy under discussion, we are not as hopelessly lost as it would appear. In order to harmonize the prophecies and get a glimpse of the future before it unfolds, we simply have to obey the Bible's clearly delineated time markers. The "time of the end" is one such marker.
"In the time of the end--a pushing"The angel's revelation to Daniel foretells of a final decisive "pushing" between the two rival kings, which results in the combined armies, navies and cavalry of the king of the north storming, flooding into, and overwhelming "the lands." Thus, we read at Daniel 11:40: "And in the time of the end the king of the south will engage with him in a pushing, and against him the king of the north will storm with chariots and with horsemen and with many ships; and he will certainly enter into the lands and flood over and pass through." While, the Watchtower still insists the foretold "pushing" was evidenced by the Cold War jousting between the former USSR and the USA, in recognition of the fact that Daniel 11:40 situates the "pushing" as taking place at the start of the time of the end, the Watchtower has cleverly readjusted their most recent interpretation; now conveniently claiming that the "pushing" actually began in 1914! In the Watchtower's inimitable sleight-of-hand method of biblical interpretation, we read on page 277 of the Daniel commentary: "Has the king of the south 'pushed' the king of the north during "the time of the end"? (Daniel 12:4, 9) Yes, indeed. After the first world war, the punitive peace treaty imposed upon the then king of the north—Germany—was surely "a pushing," an incitement to retaliation." Despite the obvious flaws and contradictions already discussed in regards to the king of the north attaining success, the Watchtower also claims both the Nazis and Communists flooded over the nations during the time of the end, in fulfillment of the prophecy. But, since the Scriptures reveal to us that the time of the end is still future, then it becomes apparent that the final confrontation between the king of the north and south lay ahead of us. What then may we expect to happen? In order to appreciate the final clash between the two kings, it is interesting to note that prior to the angel's giving Daniel the historical outline from Alexander to the great tribulation, the matter was revealed to Daniel concerning a mighty military force. Specifically, we read at Daniel 10:1: "In the third year of Cyrus the king of Persia there was a matter revealed to Daniel…and the matter was true, and there was a great military service. And he understood the matter, and he had understanding in the thing seen." As a result of this "matter" being revealed to Daniel, he went into mourning, fasting for three full weeks. At the end of that period Daniel received the further detailed revelation outlining the historical development of the two kings in order to set the stage for the final war, the "great military service," and the impact it was to have on Jehovah's people. The angel further prefaced his revelation to Daniel concerning the prophecy to come, saying to him: "And I have come to cause you to discern what will befall your people in the final part of the days, because it is a vision yet for the days to come." What was the "great military force" that will impact God's people in the final part of the days, the revelation of which caused Daniel such distress? Unquestionably, Daniel was informed of the same mighty contingent of Jehovah's executionary forces that Joel also prophesied about at Joel 2:11, where we read: "And Jehovah himself will certainly give forth his voice before his military force, for his camp is very numerous. For he who is carrying out his word is mighty; for the day of Jehovah is great and very fear-inspiring, and who can hold up under it?" (See essay: Day of the Locust Attack) Accordingly, Jehovah's watchman, Habakkuk, was similarly convulsed with dread after receiving a similar vision of the fear-inspiring executionary force Jehovah will unleash during Judgment Day. After receiving the terrifying vision, Habakkuk wrote of his personal reaction: "I heard, and my belly began to be agitated; at the sound my lips quivered; rottenness began to enter into my bones; and in my situation I was agitated, that I should quietly wait for the day of distress, for his coming up to the people, that he may raid them." Habakkuk's vision culminated with Armageddon. According to no less an authority than Jehovah God himself, Habakkuk's frightening "vision is yet for the appointed time, and it keeps panting on to the end, and it will not tell a lie. Even if it should delay, keep in expectation of it; for it will without fail come true. It will not be late." Even though Jehovah's Witnesses have been taught that the modern Chaldean has already done his work, not even the Watchtower would be so unreasonable so as to assert that "the appointed time" for the vision of Habakkuk has already arrived. (See essay: The Ultimate Final Solution) In both Habakkuk and Joel it is evident that God sanctions a mighty military empire to serve as his own punishing agent. For example, Habakkuk said of the Chaldean army: "O Jehovah, for a judgment you have set it; and, O Rock, for a reproving you have founded it." The king of the north evidently receives the same commission from Jehovah, which is why the angel told Daniel: "And he will certainly prove successful until the denunciation will have come to a finish; because the thing decided upon must be done." Let it be noted that in the book of Joel, Jehovah referred to his mighty military force as "the northerner." Others of the prophets were inspired to speak of the Chaldean as a mighty force coming down out of the north to serve as Jehovah's forge hammer for smashing all the nations of the earth. Surely, the prophets all envisioned the same judgment, albeit from various angles. So it is, then, during the opening phase of Jehovah's denunciation of this system of things, the king of the north takes up his God-assigned commission—"the thing decided upon"—and commences to bring devastation upon an unsuspecting world—including Jehovah's own "land of the Decoration." The beginning of the "pushing" between the two kings serves as the signal that the "time of the end" has commenced. Ultimately, the flooding over by the king of the north will likely be perceived as the outbreak of a third world war. As everyone knows, Jehovah's Witnesses apply Jesus' sign of the conclusion of the system of things to the First World War in 1914. However, in view of the fact that the prophets have envisioned a great war involving God's appointed punishing agent, it seems certain that "nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom" in a way that far exceeds any previous war. How vital for us, then, to determine now who the players actually are. So, then, the question becomes all the more important: Who is the king of the north and king of the south during the time of the end? To get a reliable answer to that question, we merely have to determine what present political entity is in a position to fit the prophetic description outlined in the following span of Scriptures: "And the king will actually do according to his own will, and he will exalt himself and magnify himself above every god; and against the God of gods he will speak marvelous things. And he will certainly prove successful until the denunciation will have come to a finish; because the thing decided upon must be done. And to the God of his fathers he will give no consideration; and to the desire of women and to every other god he will give no consideration, but over everyone he will magnify himself. But to the god of fortresses, in his position he will give glory; and to a god that his fathers did not know he will give glory by means of gold and by means of silver and by means of precious stone and by means of desirable things. And he will act effectively against the most fortified strongholds, along with a foreign god. Whoever has given him recognition he will make abound with glory, and he will actually make them rule among many; and the ground he will apportion out for a price." (Daniel 11:36-39) Presently, the Anglo-American dyad is incontestably the most powerful military force that has ever existed on this planet. No nation on earth can stand up to the combined military supremacy of Great Britain and the United States in a direct confrontation and possibly hope to survive. The Anglo-American king, then, would seem to fit that part of the profile of a king who pays homage to the "god of fortresses." However, there are other aspects of the prophecy that do not seem to apply. For example, in what way can it reasonably be said that the Anglo-American king does not give any consideration to the "God of his fathers"? The United States and Britain most certainly do honor the Trinitarian god of their imperial Roman predecessor. Paradoxically, if the British Empire is the king of the north and the United States is the king of the south, as presented in parts two and three of this series, and yet they are yoked together as the Anglo-American duel world power, how can they fight against each other and yet be allies, as would be implied? The solution to the paradox is that Daniel 11:36-39 is evidently profiling the final condition of the king of the north; after he has proven himself successful, but before Michael destroys him. In other words, the angel first told Daniel of the king of the north's world conquest and then, beginning with the 40th verse, proceeded to fill in the details of how the king of the north subdued his southern rival and Jehovah's people during the time of the end. The final manifestation of the king of the north is neither Great Britain or the United States. It can only be the United Nations Organization, as the future manifestation of the oligarchy's neo British/Roman Empire! But, can that be determined scripturally, even before it occurs? Can we make such a bold assertion that the United Nations will eventually supercede all other governments without our succumbing to private interpretation and mere speculation, as the Watchtower cautions us against? The Watchtower seems to have great difficulty even interpreting prophecy to past events, is there any possibility that anyone could be successful using prophecy to actually foresee the future? The answer is yes. If the Bible is a reliable guide intended to reveal the future, which we believe it is, we may confidently conclude that the United Nations is indicated in prophecy to become the ultimate super-state. But how may that be determined? First, let's review what the Watchtower has taught Jehovah's Witnesses concerning the ultimate outcome of the war between the king of the north and king of the south. Here are the Society's concluding remarks concerning the final result of the warring between the king of the north and king of the south: "The final campaign of the king of the north is not directed against the king of the south. Therefore, the king of the north does not come to his end at the hands of his great rival. Similarly, the king of the south is not destroyed by the king of the north. The king of the south is destroyed, "without human hand," by God's Kingdom." In this saying, the Watchtower is very much in error. The final campaign of the king of the north is most definitely directed against the king of the south—that is, if we consider the "final campaign" as commencing during the time of the end. After the initial pushing and flooding over, the king of the north "will keep thrusting out his hand against the lands."
"She will not prove to be an escapee"Those familiar with the prophecy might naturally wonder why it is that there is no further mention of the king of the south beyond the time of the "pushing." After all, the last time the king of the south is mentioned by name is where it says: "And in the time of the end the king of the south will engage with him in a pushing." Since the prophecy gives such a detailed history of the struggle between the two kings, why would the angel neglect to include vital details concerning the final outcome for the king of the south? Surely it is no small detail! Are we just to assume the king of the south is also directly destroyed by Michael, even though there is no mention of it in the prophecy? It is a given that all nations will eventually be destroyed, but why is it that all of the prophecies of Daniel depict a single king meeting up with Christ on the field of Megiddo? Other questions come to mind as well: For example, the Watchtower insightfully connects the final maneuverings of the king of the north to the activities of the prophetic Gog in Ezekiel, but since Ezekiel's prophecy indicates that Gog brings an international coalition against Jehovah's people, when harmonizing the prophecies where does that leave the king of the south at that point? Put another way, if, as Ezekiel indicates, all nations come to war against the representatives of Jehovah's Messianic kingdom, why does the prophecy in Daniel neglect to include the king of the south when it speaks about the incursion of the king of the north into the land of the Decoration? Also, are we to assume the king of the south remains undisturbed by the mysterious "reports" that disturb the king of the north, reports that lead into what might be best termed as a cosmocidal rage? The solution to all of the questions posed above is very simple: The reason the prophecy does not mention the king of the south any more is because he is conquered—completely subjugated by the king of the north before Michael stands up! How do we know? One valuable insight the Watchtower has imparted to us, is that "Egypt," mentioned in the 42nd and 43rd verses, is actually an alias for the king of the south. Why is that? Because Daniel 11:8-9 clearly identifies Egypt as the original king of the south. So, "Egypt" becomes a cryptic designation for the king of the south long after the original Land of the Pharaohs passed off the scene as a world power. So, Egypt represents the United States of America at Daniel 11:42-43. But how is it that the United States becomes the king of the south in the first place? We can make that connection based upon the prophecies of Isaiah and Ezekiel that describe Egypt in prophetic terms unmistakably applicable to the United States. (See essay: Doom of the Anglo-American Dyad) There are several overlapping similarities in the prophecies worth noting. For instance, Daniel 11:42 reads: "And he will keep thrusting out his hand against the lands; and as regards the land of Egypt, she will not prove to be an escapee." Whereas, Ezekiel 32:3 describes Egypt's capture in more graphic terms: "This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said, 'I will also spread over you my net by means of a congregation of many peoples, and they will certainly bring you in my dragnet." By comparison, Daniel 11:43 reads: "And he will actually rule over the hidden treasures of the gold and the silver and over all the desirable things of Egypt. And the Libyans and the Ethiopians will be at his steps." Ezekiel 30:4 also foretells that Egypt's wealth will be plundered and her allies will also fall. "And a sword will certainly come into Egypt, and severe pains must occur in Ethiopia when one falls slain in Egypt and they actually take its wealth and its foundations are actually torn down." Furthermore, Daniel 11:41 indicates that the king of the north takes down Jehovah's people and numerous lands. "He will also actually enter into the land of the Decoration, and there will be many lands that will be made to stumble." Ezekiel 30:5-6 similarly foretells that God's people, ('sons of the land of the covenant') as well as Put (Libya) must stumble and fall before Jehovah's executioner: "Ethiopia and Put and Lud and all the mixed company and Chub and the sons of the land of the covenant—with them they will fall by the very sword…The supporters of Egypt must also fall, and the pride of its strength must come down." Even a brief overview of the prophecies should impress upon us the significance of the fall of "Egypt" during the time of the end. The crash of both Egypt and Tyre are depicted in prophecy as a globe-rocking catastrophe for good reason—it is part of Jehovah's judgment against the nations climaxing at Armageddon. (Also see essay: Death of a God) After a global calamity will seemingly slaughter the powers-that-be, we may thereafter expect the Anglo-American combine to take the lead in relinquishing what is left of their own national sovereignties to the United Nations—even as the 13th chapter of Revelation depicts the two-horned beast taking the lead in worshipping an idol of its own making. So, it is not as though the United Nations becomes a world conqueror on its own power. The agency has merely been set up as a bureaucratic infrastructure capable of exercising global dominion under extraordinary circumstances should such powers be granted it by the nations. (See essay: A King of Fierce Countenance) Since it has been the determined long-range goal of the London-centered financial oligarchy to subvert and ultimately destroy the United States' republican form of government, as well as the entire nation-state system of things; apparently, this will come about by creating a crisis of such proportions that the United States will be forced to scrap its own constitution and supportive democratic institutions. (Ezekiel's prophecy foretold that the "foundations" of "Egypt" would be torn down) The United Nations, of course, is not a democratic institution. It is not a government of the people, by the people, or for the people. It is the future administrative headquarters of the imperial New World Order. Once executive power and military authority is transferred to the United Nations, it is irreversible—that's it. The American Republic "will not prove to be an escapee." It will have been completely subjected to the will of the conspirators. In this way the imperial king of the north may be said to "prove successful until the denunciation will have come to a finish." While most people scoff at the suggestion that such a thing could happen, the reality is that it is already happening, and nearly complete. Consider that in the relatively short span of the last 30 years, the Empire has succeeded in subverting the world's most powerful producer nation into becoming the world's most indebted nation. As of June 30, 2004, the rapidly ballooning seven-trillion dollar national debt amounts to just under $25,000 per person—nearly $100,000 per family of four! Nearly half of all the publicly-held U.S. debt is in foreign hands. The U.S. trade deficit amounts to over $1,000,000,000 daily outflow. Like the national debt, it too has been described as a disaster in the making. Even the oligarchy's own IMF recently expressed alarm at the record-breaking pace at which the United States is plunging deeper and deeper into debt. Undoubtedly, it is simply a matter of time until the creditors call in their loans; collapsing the bond and stock markets, as well as the Dollar; thereby reducing the United States to a so-called third world nation. In that event, these words of God will come about concerning the king of the north: "And he will actually rule over the hidden treasures of the gold and the silver and over all the desirable things of Egypt." In this way too, the king of fierce countenance may be said to "certainly prove successful and do effectively. And he will actually bring mighty ones to ruin…and according to his insight he will also certainly cause deception to succeed in his hand…and during a freedom from care he will bring many to ruin." It is not at all unthinkable that the looming financial collapse, perhaps combined with a terrorist attack on Washington D.C., or some other war event, would result in the transferral of the United States' military sovereignty to the United Nations authority. In that event, the United Nations would be in the position described in Daniel as exalting himself by means of paying homage to the "god of fortresses." The Watchtower has for many years identified the United Nations as the 8th king of biblical prophecy (even though in reality it is not—yet) and the agency that Jehovah God will use to destroy the religious harlot, Babylon the Great. Revelation foretells that no nation will dare defy the 8th king, for fear they too might be destroyed. Obviously, at that point the UN must possess incontestable power, which it does not possess presently. At any rate, after the destruction of the world's organized religions, it may be said that the New World Order will have completely arrived. In that way the scripture will be fulfilled concerning the king of the north, which says: "And to the God of his fathers he will give no consideration; and to the desire of women and to every other god he will give no consideration, but over everyone he will magnify himself." "The desire of women" would seem to apply to the religious desires of the harlot of Revelation and her many daughters. His giving no consideration to any "other god" would include Jesus and Jehovah God as well. |
